Dining rooms are now becoming offices.
Makes perfect sense to me. If you're anything like my family; we congregate in our dining room only for holidays. Other than that, it collects mounds of dust. In search for a new home I am definitely looking for a house with a dining room. Although turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce will partake in this room, I want a functional space that will provide as my office.
The search starts with the perfect transitional desk/dining table. I stumbled across a furniture store called Oldrids & Downtowns.
They had an array of dining options that could also be used as desks and then back to a dining room table once the family comes into town.

I love the second to last photo.. but I think it's mainly because I love all black furniture, lol.
ReplyDeleteNeat idea. We hardly ever use the dinning for dinning that is. It is actually the space for all my crafting. I love the last photo. Plus it can always be changed back when needed.
